Story
Yakuruna aka Chris Thomas is a musician from the UK sharing songs from different spiritual traditions. The name "Yakuruna" means "water person" in Quechua and was given to Chris by Don Javier, a Mestizo shaman from Peru. Over the last 20 years Chris has travelled between the UK and South America, spending time with the Huni Kuin people of the Brazilian Amazon and the Arahuaco people of the mountains of Sierra Nevada in Colombia, learning from their indigenous wisdom how to walk the path of the heart and to connect to the earth.
He is a carrier of sacred and beautiful songs, many of which speak to the spirit of the water.
Over the last 10 years Chris has supported the work of the Earth Wisdom family, sharing his music at many ceremonies and retreats all over the world from the USA, Brazil, Colombia, Switzerland and Bali.
